Work-reasons have forced me to expanded my programming languages sets. I've settled on C# which is a bit of a challenge for a windows-free home! Once mono was installed on my manjaro thinkpad and [RPi](https://www.maketecheasier.com/write-c-sharp-programs-raspberry-pi/), it was full steam ahead.

The first challenge was to learn the language and the mindset. Learning Hungarian has taught me that it isn't just a simple case of translating the words but the whole culture has been be embraced. The next challenge is to find a problem which needs solving. I've settled on replacing my list of hacked bash/perl/python scripts which I use on my RPI to process my multimedia collection. This is a complete overkill but does gives some hope!
